Happy Valentines Day dear ones.
Admittedly, I had forgotten it was Valentines Day until mid morning. I can barely remember what day of the week it is most days, but usually we would have done some kind of activity so I’ve clawed back some of my mum points this afternoon by baking chocolate cake with them, and tomorrow we’ll belatedly sit down and devour both the cakes and all of our favourite Valentine’s Day themed books.
If you’re late to the party too, take heart that you aren’t alone, and perhaps you can dig out one of these books or quickly put it on order through Amazon prime.
After all, your kids will not mind one bit that you didn’t read them on the actual day!

What we’ve been enjoying lately
Me- The Dwell Audio Bible app. It’s been such a gift in this time where the ability to actually sit and read my Bible is not as frequent as I’d like. It allows me to soak in time in the word much more frequently. I absolutely love the Lectio Divina series, which is an ancient prayerful method to approaching the Bible. Sefton (age 8) - has been thoroughly enjoying the Bark of the Bog Owl! It is the first book of a three part fantasy adventure series which looks to be a gripping trilogy!
