My 8 year old son has loved all of these books. Whilst they inevitably will never be “perfect” in content, as no book is, we combat this by keeping an open dialogue with our children about what they are reading, helping them to navigate the world using a biblical lens. All that said, I have felt comfortable with him reading all of these at this age and I hope your children love them too.

His recent favourite was Lepunia, written by first time Christian author Kevin Ford, and here are his own words, typed by his own sweet hands 🥹

“This book was excellent and the story was interesting. I loved it because of how the characters in the book are adventurous within and without. And they always seem to have a little spark to encourage each other and to make sure that they don’t lose their own spark. The encouragement of this story has impacted me so much that I can’t imagine to wait for the next book in the series. The kindness of the rabbits in the book is so powerful that they would lay down their lives for each other. I have loads more to say about this book than I have words. This book will help to encourage you. It will be your forever favourite. I will always have a favourite book and it will be this one. The one and only LEPUNIA. Now I have to leave to read another book in the series.”
